대중들의 반응에 민감한 광고계에서도 키스를 부르는 인물에 대한 중요성을 누구보다 잘 알고 있다. 광고계 관계자는 "키스신은 가장 효과적으로 다양한 의미와 시선을 집중시킬 수 있다는 측면이 있다. 때문에 광고에서는 키스녀 또는 키스남을 모델로 선정해 로맨틱한 사랑의 증표를 넘어 마케팅의 수단으로 이용하고 있다. 눈길을 끌 수 있는 키스 등의 스킨십을 활용한 마케팅은 앞으로도 계속될 것"이라고 전망했다.
